Manager of Communications & Public Policy
The Business & Industry Association (BIA) is New Hampshire’s statewide chamber of commerce and leading business advocate. Our nonpartisan mission is to promote a healthy business climate for job creation and a strong New Hampshire economy. Through advocacy with state legislators, state regulators, and the governor, we shape business-friendly public policy and provide counterbalance to legislation and regulations that threaten the growth and prosperity of New Hampshire employers.
The Manager of Communications & Public Policy is responsible for overseeing all communications for BIA to ensure its messaging is consistent, correct, and engaging. Duties include drafting news releases, opinion-editorials, media advisories, scripts for events, content for print and online publications, letters to elected and appointed state policy leaders, marketing materials, editing content, fielding media inquiries, and more. Additionally, the new hire will lead advocacy efforts in select public policy areas important to BIA members.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
