HR, Health Care and Workforce Development Policy Committee
The Human Resources, Health Care and Workforce Development Committee addresses issues relating to labor regulation, healthcare, health and safety, workers' compensation, employee-reporting requirements and other HR-related legislation. The committee meets the third Friday of each month at the BIA office in Concord. Meetings begin at 8:00 AM and are open to BIA members.

2. HB 1674 - Relative to Computer Science and Digital Literacy - Representative Terry Wolf (R-Bedford) Terry Wolf, vice-chair of the House Education committee, will be our guest to discuss her bill, HB 1674, which would add computer science and digital literacy to the list of skills that make up an adequate education
3. HB 1418 FN Transparency and cost control of pharmaceutical drugs - Rep. Ed Butler (D-Harts Location) Representative Butler will be our guest to present his bill, HB 1418 related to cost control of pharmaceutical drugs. This is one of several drug cost containment bills being considered by the legislature this session.
4. Breast Feeding in the Workplace - Joyce Kelley, NH Breastfeeding Task Force with Senator Martha Fuller Clark (D-Senate District 21) Joyce Kelly and her colleagues, Lissa Sirois from DHHS and Paula Oliveira, Chair of the Workplace Committee of the Task Force, will present on this important issue. They will also share a recently completed "tool-kit" for business. . Senator Martha Fuller Clark will also be on hand to discuss several bills she is sponsoring related to breast feeding.
