HR, Health Care and Workforce Development Policy Committee
The Human Resources, Health Care and Workforce Development Committee addresses issues relating to labor regulation, healthcare, health and safety, workers' compensation, employee-reporting requirements and other HR-related legislation. The committee meets the third Friday of each month at the BIA office in Concord. Meetings begin at 8:00 AM and are open to BIA members.

Todd Fahey, State Director of AARP New Hampshire will be discussing the dynamics of New Hampshire’s aging workforce. He will focus on the value of experienced workers and discuss some examples of how such experience has been productively used states outside of New Hampshire.
3. Panel presentation: Our Immigrant Workforce
Moderated by Kelly Laflamme from the Endowment for Health, this panel will provide an overview of the demographics and opportunities of New Hampshire's immigrant workforce.
Panelists include Tina Sharby, who will focus on a unique project of Easter Seals to partner directly with the immigrant community to identify, train and hire workers. Other panelists include Eva Castillo of Welcoming NH, Arnold Mikolo of the Congolese Community of NH, and Peter Cooke, the co-chair of the Economic Development and Employment Workgroup of Welcoming Manchester.
