HR, Health Care and Workforce Development Policy Committee
The Human Resources, Health Care and Workforce Development Committee addresses issues relating to labor regulation, healthcare, health and safety, workers' compensation, employee-reporting requirements and other HR-related legislation. The committee meets the third Friday of each month at the BIA office in Concord. Meetings begin at 8:00 AM and are open to BIA members.

2. Senator Jay Kahn - NH GRIP Senator Kahn, (D-Sen. Dist. 10), will present his bill SB 228, establishing the New Hampshire College Graduate Retention Incentive (NH GRIP), an employer sponsored program designed to encourage college graduates to live and work in New Hampshire by providing up to $1,000 each year (for four years) to reduce college debt
3. Endowment for Health - Investing in Early Childhood Development Kim Firth, from the Endowment for Health, and researcher Lynn Karoly will present their findings from a recently released study examining the positive economic impacts associated with early childhood development.
4. Chris Hobin - MindEdge Learning Chris Hobin from MindEdge Learning will preview a new e-learning membership benefit for BIA members. The soon to be unveiled program will allow BIA member employees to take certification or CEU courses online at their own pace. Chris will present the vocational offerings and solicit input on what additional curriculum BIA members would want to see
