Please join the Business and Industry Association, in partnership with the Homebuilder and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire, sponsored by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, for a luncheon forum on Thursday, September 5th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Radisson Hotel, Manchester.
The Great Recession did a number on housing in New Hampshire, as it did in states around the country. Housing values plummeted. New housing construction came to a stop. Financing became difficult or impossible for many potential first-time buyers. Foreclosures were at an all-time high.
But where is housing now, as we move out of the recession? Is the market on the rebound? Are properties gaining value? Are they selling? What are the opportunities for rental housing and first-time home ownership for New Hampshire workers?
An expert panel will provide the answers to these and many other questions about housing in New Hampshire.
- Kendall Buck, executive vice president, Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire
- William Weidacher, realtor and president, New Hampshire Realtors Association
- Chris Davies, developer, Great Bridge Properties
- Ignatius MacLellan, managing director, homeownership, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority
